The block is going the same colour as the rocker cover, Oxford Blue.It is sprayed on in light coats this is the first coat of three.
Second coat applied. I also prepped and painted the crank & water pump pulleys at the same time as I had the paint in the spray gun.
The finished job all unmasked.
I'm quite pleased with the finished paint job. The only downside is that I found a hole in the front core plug so that needs to be replaced but more on that later.
Alternator bracket paint in black, once dry then can be bolted back onto the block.
Next I will work on the head and then the rebuild can start.
