
Work has started to strip down the old engine in the Eagle, and by the time you read this Iain should have most of the major component's removed ready to take it out.

The
carb and inlet manifold remove from the old engine. At some point in its life someone has spray painted the whole unit at the same time as painting up the cam/rocker cover.

As you can see from the photo above the throttle linkage has had a good coat of paint and is not working as freely as it should.

The auto choke is in the same sort of condition as the throttle linkage.

carb removed from the inlet manifold and given to good clean up.
All the lineages are now working freely.
