This is how the dash looked when I got the Eagle back.
Time has not been kind to the inside of the car, the upholstery fabric vinyl has gone very flat and has started to come away around the instrument pod and looks very untidy. I did try and glue it back into place but it just did not look right.
So I have made up a trim frame out of alloy to go around the pod to hold every thing in place.
The old wooden steering wheel has fared the wost it is split around the rim and has few nicks in it, I could spend time repairing it but by the time i have put in with labour & materials it is cheaper to get a new wheel and be done with it. So I have got hold of a new black & chrome wheel.
The instrument pod trim finished in gloss black.
The dash now look 100% better than it did, I still have to fit a rev counter and build a centre console but that will have to wait till I get the gearbox in place so I can see what room I have to play with between the gear lever and the heater.
