5-Speed Type 9 Gearbox

A new year and a new start on the Eagle RV. Too kick things off I'm going to be checking out the 5-speed type 9 gearbox that came in the back of the Eagle along with a load of other parts.
As we don't know anything about the history of this box or how many miles it as done it will have to be given a good looking over. First job on the too do list is to give it a good clean up as it is thick with mucky old dirt and oil.

The box washed and cleaned and on the workbench with the bell housing removed and any old gearbox oil removed. I will at a later date remove the top cover and check out all the gears.

All seams to be fine with the box, all gears can be selected and it has cleaned up a treat.
